Description:
Pointer problem using Wacom Intuos4 8x13 tablet/digitizer.
The UI focus is offset from the visible mouse pointer when using the drawing tablet.
This happens _only_ in digikam. All other applications behave as expected.
When using a regular mouse, the UI focus is where the mouse pointer is, as expected.
This happens even in a new blank test user environment.
It does _not_ happen when running the appimage from digikam.org.
It did _not_ happen in the previous version 6.1.0-2

Extra odd behaviour when testing in a blank test user environment:
When starting the digikam from the Arch repositories, then closing it, and then starting the appimage digikam, both exhibit the problem.
When starting the appimage first, only the digikam from the repositories exhibit the problem.

However, in my regular user environment, where I have clearly started the digikam from the repositories before the appimage, the appimage does _not_ exhibit the problem, as it does in the blank test user environment.

Please advise how I can help solve this bug.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
6.2.0-1

* config and/or log files etc.
Please advise.

* link to upstream bug report, if any
A search for upstream bug reports had no hits.

Steps to reproduce:

I have now had time to dig further into this.
I think it is unlikely that this is a but introduced in digikam 6.2.0-1.
Yesterday I happened to see the same bug in two modules in KDE system settings.
I know I have been able to use the drawing tablet in digikam prior to 2019-06-26, but downgrading both xf86-input-wacom and digikam to versions before that date does not solve the problem.
So the problem must be elsewhere.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
