keepass2john is incorrectly symlinked to john itself, which according to https://www.openwall.com/lists/john-users/2019/04/18/1 should be a separate program. As it is, there is no way of accessing the correct keepass2john program. Additional info: * John version: 1.9.0.jumbo1-1 Steps to reproduce: Install john. $ which keepass2john /usr/bin/keepass2john $ ls -l /usr/bin/keepass2john lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Jun 2 23:53 /usr/bin/keepass2john -> john |
