Description:
The package libxnvctrl (produced by nvidia-settings) until recently contained a libXNVCtrl.so.0 shared library, which was dropped when the version was bumped from 430.14 to 430.40. From version 430.40 on only the static library libXNVCtrl.a is included in the package. Unfortunately, the shared library is being used by at least one other package: psensor.
This means that psensor stopped working, issuing the error message:

psensor: error while loading shared libraries: libXNVCtrl.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I think the shared library should be included in the package.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
Problem introduced with version 430.40

* config and/or log files etc.
psensor: error while loading shared libraries: libXNVCtrl.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

* link to upstream bug report, if any
This is purely a packaging issue

Steps to reproduce:
Install psensor and run it.
This task depends upon

Got the same issue too. But in my case, it happens when I try to start the 'conky-lua-nv' package. I think all packages that require Nvidia library may get this issue.

Same here with ArcoLinux Openbox. It broke my Conky which also depends on libxvnctrl. Fixed it by reverting to the 430.14 version.

Rebuilds of the depending packages should do.
Affected: mate-sensors-applet, psensor, sensors-applet
