We currently have a sufficient number of tier 1 mirrors in the US, but you do have a lot of bandwidth so I'll keep the ticket open and reevaluate the situation in 6-9 months.

I've upgraded the mirror to a Tier 1 as it appears stable and has great bandwidth capabilities.
We'll track and revaluate Tier 1 requirements in https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/71616
