Description:
Archlinux not detecting my MicroSD memory card if it inserted before boot, but if I insert it on running system - it works well. I can't see the card in /dev/ before I re-insert it nor in emergency shell, nor in live-USB Archlinux shell. This is a problem because I using small laptop with lack of disk space so decided to install whole system on external memory card. But most interesting part is the problem doesn't appear on Chrome OS and even boot loader works (Grub is installed on partition of the same card). So I managed to bring system to work through re-insert memory card manually during early boot-time every launch... What I already tried: 1. echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/rescan # Nothing happens even in `udevadm monitor` 2. modprobe pciehp pciehp_force=1 # FATAL: Module pciehp not found in directory /lib/modules/... 3. mkinitcpio with pinctrl_cherryview, sdhci, sdhci_pci, mmc_core, mmc_block, rtsx_pci, rtsx_pci_sdmmc # Didn't help 4.
