Description:
My firewall configuration is saved with iptables-save in /etc/iptables/iptables.rules

Looks like an upgrade resets my rules and move them to iptables.rules.pacsave

.pacsave files are only created when you remove a package, not when you upgrade. How did you update the system?

# pacman -Syu
