Description:
In a Gnome Wayland Session, the bottom controls are not working. Clicking on play/pause or any other controls in the bottom bar that pops up on mouse movement has no effect.

Additional info:
* totem 3.32.0-1
* gstreamer 1.16.0-2
* Only happens in a Wayland Session, not xorg.
* The functionality (play/pause etc.) via keyboard works fine.
* I first noticed this actually quite a while ago, but I don't know when it started.
* Doesn't seem to be hardware or driver related, tested with Raven Ridge/ AMDGPU and NVIDIA 9600M GT/ Nouveau.
* Installing/uninstalling gstreamer-vaapi makes no difference.
* In Fedora 30 the controls work fine.

Steps to reproduce:
Start a video with totem in a Wayland Session and try clicking the bottom controls for example to pause the video.

Terminal output:
(totem:8523): Gdk-WARNING **: 23:25:06.252: Native Windows taller than 65535 pixels are not supported
(totem:8523): Gtk-WARNING **: 23:25:06.480: Drawing a gadget with negative dimensions. Did you forget to allocate a size? (node slider owner GtkScale)
