Description:
When resuming from suspend, I am left with a frozen lightdm login screen, neither mouse nor keyboard works. I do the only thing I can: I switch to another TTY, login and find the Xorg PID so I can kill it. Killing the process causes the TTY to switch immediately to TTY 7, where lightdm is now working and I can see that the system was able to keep my session intact. So, the workaround is to kill Xorg every time I resume from suspend. Additional info: * xorg-server: 1.20.5-1 * lightdm: 1:1.30.0-2 Steps to reproduce: - Suspend the system - Wake it up See log files attached. System specs: - Graphics: AMD RX 560 4GB - Intel Core i3-8100 - Xfce4 as Desktop Environment - Using lightdm as display manager, with lightdm-gtk-greeter and light-locker to lock screen. |
