Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  Support issues for using makepkg to build custom packages belong on the support forums or mailing list, not the bug tracker.

You somehow forgot to mention which package this is about. Please clarify.

My bad. I was trying to build the kernel, which basically pulls the kernel. Once the kernel and patched get fetched from prespecified location, which mentioned in the PKGBUILD file. As the error saying " diffing in size" ...wondering...

Somehow I have a script based on this URL : https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Kernels/Arch_Build_System

stable kernel 5.1

patch 5.1.11

So this is your own package, not one in the official repos?

In that case it is your responsibility to ensure the PKGBUILD is valid. If you need help, you may ask on the forums or the aur-general mailing list, but this is a "how do I create a custom package" support issue, not a bug report about a package.

Also the mentioned error should be clear enough anyway -- it is saying that your sources do not match your integrity checksums.
