Description: I use a simple libinput hook to emulate the middle mouse button by clicking the left and right mouse button simultaneously on Gnome Wayland. More precisely, I use this: https://github.com/gaul/libinput-force-middle-click-emulation
After the most recent update of gnome-shell (version 1:3.32.2+1+g24cb1c1aa-1) it does not work anymore. It works fine with gnome-shell-1:3.32.2-2.

Additional info:
* package version(s): gnome-shell-1:3.32.2+1+g24cb1c1aa-1
* I narrowed down the problem here: https://github.com/gaul/libinput-force-middle-click-emulation/issues/1

Steps to reproduce: Follow the installation instruction on https://github.com/gaul/libinput-force-middle-click-emulation/blob/master/README.md to install the libinput hook. Start a Gnome Wayland session. Click the left and right mouse button simultaneously. It results in a middle mouse click on gnome-shell-:3.32.2-2, but not on gnome-shell-1:3.32.2+1+g24cb1c1aa-1.

The issue is related to middle-click emulator (libinput-force-middle-click-emulation), not gnome-shell itself
Moreover that software is not in Arch repos
