Installing Remote Development extension does not work with OSS packaged version of code. Using binary version of VSCode from https://code.visualstudio.com/ this extension works correctly. Additional info: * Code 1.35.0 * extension: ms-vscode-remote.vscode-remote-extensionpack) Steps to reproduce: 1. Install code 1.35.0 2. Install remote development extension 3. connect to remote machine via ssh (ctrl-p -> 'remote ssh: connect to host' -> choose host) 4. New window opens with connection animation errors are displayed: Failed to connect to the remote extension host server (Error: No remote extension installed to resolve ssh-remote.) Resolving the authority `ssh-remote` failed 5. Restart code 6. Repeat step 3 7. Error is displayed: command 'opensshremotes.openEmptyWindow' not found |
