DetailsDescription:
There was a package duplication in the AUR with python{,2}-socks (possibly due to a missing deletion when it was moved to <community> as python-pysocks). I filed a deletion request of my AUR package which was accepted (PRQ#14781). However, given that the packages co-existed for a while (and many users may have still installed python{,2}-socks), I think we might want to track this by setting replaces=(python-socks) in the python-pysocks package. Opening this so my initial request with PRQ#14781 doesn't get forgotten, please ignore if you think this does not make sense. |
