I upgraded from mate-utils 1.22.0-1 -> 1.22.1-1 and it dragged in inkscape (and it's dependencies gsl and libmagick6) for +140 MB on disk - upstream has already logged a bug and reverted this to make inkscape optional for 1.22.2: https://github.com/mate-desktop/mate-utils/issues/223 Adding a bug tracker here so that when 1.22.2 is released and we upgrade the package we can remove this unnecessary installation of inkscape and dependencies with basic MATE desktop mate-utils. |

Please don't file bugs for future packages. That being said, the actual issue here is that inkscape should not be a runtime dependency, only makedepends.
