the thunar-archive-plugin package depends on xarchiver, but this is not really a dependency. you can use file-roller, xarchiver and even squeeze (from svn.xfce.org) already supports the plugin.
so please remove that dependency and add a .install telling which archivers are supported if they are not installed or sth like that.

that is right and I thought about that. But to work, the plugin needs one archiver installed at least. Since we don't have a meta group for archivers, which wouldn't make sense since thunar is the only file manager that can deal so flexible with that we need to make sure that at least one archiver is installed. xarchiver is the standard for xfce4 at the moment. Hence the dependency makes sense IMHO.
