DetailsDescription: Beginning with Guake version 3.6.1-1, the drop down terminal is displayed in the center of the screen under Gnome wayland, if the user has elected to enable "Center New Windows" under Windows Gnome Tweaks. Also note that Displacement in pixels under Guake Preferences are also ignored, the terminal is still displayed in the center. This behavior does not happen under gnome with Xorg.
Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: Launch Gnome Tweaks, select Windows tab and enable "Center New Windows". Start Guake and press F12 to display it. It will be displayed in the center instead of at the top as one would expect. Using pacman to revert to guake 3.5.0-1 returned to the correct/expected behavior. |
