Description:
I've upgraded: core/systemd core/systemd-libs core/systemd-sysvcompat from version 241.93 to versione 242, and then i couldn't boot anymore. Sometimes if from grub i start archlinux initramfs failback the boot works, but often i can't boot. i've a LUKS encrypted SSD with ext4 file system the boot hangs on "[ OK ] Stopped udev Kernel Device Manager." Additional info: * package version: 242 * kernel version: i've tested both 5.0 and lts version 4.19 * how to "fix": downgrade systemd (and -libs, -sysvcompat) to versione 241.93 fix the problem sorry but i haven't some log or config files, because i don't know what can be helpful. but i can provide it if you tell me what you need Steps to reproduce: simply starts ArchLinux after systemd upgrade, but i've 2 pc, and only on notebook (i5 8250u) i had this problem, the desktop PC works fine (ryzen 5 2600) |
