Hmm, thanks for the link to the issue.
I am having same problems.
I noticed in the link there is PKGBUILD, that is actually also on AUR.
I will test and see if it fixes the issues, I have already installed it and if everything is ok, i will make a remark on the nvidia wiki page in gnome section about it.

So I think this issue can be closed, from my perspective. I will request closure when i make the modification on wiki.

Ahh, I made a mistake, so is actually gnome-shell:
:: gnome-shell-performance and gnome-shell are in conflict. Remove gnome-shell? [y/N]
error: unresolvable package conflicts detected

ok, could one of the devs implement this?

Well, you just needed to accept removal of gnome-shell, but if you want to keep the name of the original package, try this PKGBUILD instead.
