Description:
Text input or output randomly disappears/reappears in terminal.
It is related to the subpixel order settings in the font settings. The bug and a workaround are described here:

You should report these bugs on the upstream bug tracker, not here.

This should be fixed in mesa 19.0.4.

Thanks for looking into it. I am transitioning from Windows and I switched distros a couple of weeks ago (Mint Cinnamon) because there were a lot of other issues with Manjaro. Unfortunately I have no opportunity to test on another distro's full intstallation atm.
