Description:
ffmpeg version 1:4.1.3-1, currently in the Arch repo, does not work due to requiring glibc version 2.29. Non-testing Arch repos are still stuck at 2.28. This makes ffmpeg crash at startup for any task.

Run any command, ie ffmpeg -i input -bsf:a aac_adtstoasc -acodec copy -vcodec copy output.mp4

I find it hard to believe that it's been broken for more than 3 days an nobody noticed. What's the exact error?

Edit: Just checked the package, it was built against glibc-2.28-6, so there's no way this is valid. Is this on x86_64 Arch or something else?

x86_64 Arch, yes. I dont have the exact error anymore (reverted to testing repos becuase I need ffmpeg today), but it was a standard library mismatch error. I have the package installed from the regular extra repo, havent used AUR or anything like that.

As I said, no way that ffmpeg is an issue here. Without more info, nothing to be done.
