I installed python-pip (pacman -S python-pip)

When I type pip --version, I got this error:

This happens if you've mixed pacman -S pip and sudo pip install -U pip. Do not try to install python modules using sudo pip -- not even pip itself.

Use the "lostfiles" program available in community/lostfiles, to find broken files in /usr that should not be there, including the broken pip ones, and delete them in order to repair your archlinux installation and return yourself to a supported state.
