DetailsDescription: When using code, if you change the value of Enable crash reporter and then restart the application it will open an electron window. Same as running code as a development extension host, when opening the new instance to test the extension, an electron window is shown instead of code.
Verified that this doesn't happen in visual-studio-code-bin and in vscodium (aur package). Packages: code 1.33.1-1 electron-4.1.1-2 Steps to reproduce: Open code settings and change Enable crash reporter value then restart code (from dialog window) |

Reason for closing: Upstream
Additional comments about closing: As I stated previously, the upstream should support running the app via the electron binary properly. I have spent a lot of time trying to patch vscode to make it behave properly but without success. It doesn't strike me as an hard problem to fix but I don't have enough knowledge of the project.
