Currently, `transmission-gtk` lists ` notification-daemon` as optional dependency for Desktop notification support. Actually on GNOME, I am able to receive desktop notification even if I do not have that optional dep installed! Digging a bit, I found that on Transmission wiki page[1] the only thing tied to notification stuff is `libnotify`, listed as optional dep. --- [1] https://github.com/transmission/transmission/wiki/Building-Transmission |

Fixed in SVN. With the next package rebuild, the optdep will say "libnotify" since that makes more sense.
