extra-x86_64-build fails with:

checking for freetype-config... no
checking for FreeType -- version >= 9.0.3... no
configure: error: FreeType2 is required to compile this library


This looks similar to the [libotf] error to me ...

after patching another failure to build with
/bin/sh: Done.: command not found
resolved by the Makefile.am part of https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/tree/media-libs/ftgl/files/ftgl-2.1.3_rc5-gentoo.patch
