Hey together,

we are a Tier 1 mirror and are recently migrating to new hardware and a new hostname.

We migrate from mirror.23media.de to mirror.23media.com. During the next weeks we will serve via both mirrors until we completely switched all repositories to mirror.23media.com

We are now serving with the following protocols:
http://mirror.23media.com/archlinux
https://mirror.23media.com/archlinux
rsync://mirror.23media.com/archlinux

Please, grant the following IPs access to the main arch linux repo: 212.83.32.30 / 2a00:f48:1007:32::30

The new server has new hardware to handle the future load and is connected with 10G to the internet.

Thank you very much!

Thanks, I've added the new IPs and changed the URLs. Will the .de URL be switched over to the new mirror after the migration or will it be turned off? If it's going to be turned off, I'll send out notifications to downstream mirrors about this so that they can change their source accordingly.

Does the domain of the contact emails we have change from .de to .com as well?

Hey Florian,

thank you. The URL will be completely switched over but we will add a CNAME to solve all future requests.

The new contact for mirror issues or requests: mirror@23media.com - the old one will remain also.

Thanks. I understand that you will add a CNAME to the old domain after the migration, correct? So the old URLs will continue to work and I won't notify downstream mirrors, but instead I'll let them continue to use the old URLs. Our website now only lists the new URLs so new mirrors will use those. I've also updated our contact emails to use the new domain just in case.

Correct, the CNAME will be added in about 1-2 weeks, when the migration is complete. The old URLs will continue to work. Everything else is fine!

Perfect. Thanks!
