DetailsWith the extreme development, support, and very widely adoptation ZFS on Linux has gained we need at least zfs-dkms in the Arch Linux repos - badly.
Both Debian, Ubuntu, and several other distros has already incorporation ZFS into their repositories, in Debian and Ubuntus case it's in their contrib repos. There is no legal issue regarding putting ZFS on the Arch repo, there is only an upstream kernel issue - which isn't related to the Linux distribution in themselves. |
