For anyone affected there is now a merge request ( that fixes a gnome-shell crash that sometimes occurs when resuming from standby/sleep.

Additional info:
* On my machine the issue is present on any version of mutter >=3.32
* Upstream bug report:

Steps to reproduce:
Put computer to sleep and resume it. After some attempts there is a crash if your machine is affected.

The aforementioned merge request was just merged to master. If the package is built on top of master the next time, the issue will be resolved.
