Description:
Distro packages shouldn't have asserts enabled. arch-meson defaults to --buildtype plain, so it doesn't disable asserts.

It's a general meson bug which will be fixed in the next meson release: https://github.com/mesonbuild/meson/pull/5143

Added -D b_ndebug=true.

Please test compton-6.2-2 that will appear in [community] shortly.
