When open a file in /etc/ with code and try to save changes, it would be rejected by "Permission denied", that's expected behavior. And then code would prompt user to "Retry As Sudo", but this feature won't work. It works fine with `aur/visual-studio-code-bin`. Additional info: * package version(s) * 1.32.3-1 * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any * VSCode bug: https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode/issues/70403 Steps to reproduce: 1. `sudo touch /etc/test` 2. `code /etc/test` 3. type some words randomly and save file 4. click "Retry As Sudo" in message prompt, and the prompt would show again, no changes would be saved. |
