steam-native-runtime currently hard depends on {,lib32-}libappindicator-gtk2 as a means of displaying Steam's appicon menu on GTK2-based DEs/WMs. Maybe these packages (as well as the GTK3 equivalents) could be made into opt-depends instead, so that people can pick the right version based on the DE/WM they are actually running. Thank you for maintaining this package for all of our conveniences! |
