DetailsDescription:
On a Dell XPS 13 (9350) https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dell_XPS_13_(9350) On boot, systemd seems to crash and display manager GDM doesn't start. During at least 1min30s I get a black screen and, after then, I can finally call a terminal and restarting systemd solves the issue. This forum entry is very similar to my problem: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=243385 Additional info: * package version(s) from version 240.0-1 to current version (241.7-2). Last stable version seems to be 239.6-1. * config and/or log files etc. journalctl -p3 report: mars 16 17:04:00 plaptop NetworkManager[486]: <error> [1552752240.0774] session-monitor: failed to create systemd-logind monitor: -2 mars 16 17:04:07 plaptop ntpd[501]: bind(24) AF_INET6 fe80::fb5d:2bb9:9d75:e09c%2#123 flags 0x11 failed: Cannot assign requested address mars 16 17:04:07 plaptop ntpd[501]: unable to create socket on wlp58s0 (5) for fe80::fb5d:2bb9:9d75:e09c%2#123 mars 16 17:05:32 plaptop gnome-session-binary[826]: Unrecoverable failure in required component org.gnome.Shell.desktop mars 16 17:05:32 plaptop gnome-session-binary[826]: Unrecoverable failure in required component org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.Clipboard.desktop mars 16 17:05:32 plaptop gnome-session-binary[826]: Unrecoverable failure in required component org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.XSettings.desktop mars 16 17:05:32 plaptop gnome-session-binary[826]: Unrecoverable failure in required component org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.Power.desktop mars 16 17:05:32 plaptop gnome-session-binary[826]: Unrecoverable failure in required component org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.Color.desktop mars 16 17:05:32 plaptop gnome-session-binary[826]: Unrecoverable failure in required component org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.Keyboard.desktop mars 16 17:05:32 plaptop gnome-session-binary[826]: Unrecoverable failure in required component org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.Wacom.desktop mars 16 17:05:33 plaptop gnome-session-binary[826]: Unrecoverable failure in required component org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.MediaKeys.desktop mars 16 17:06:44 plaptop kernel: watchdog: watchdog0: watchdog did not stop! |
