Description:
After updating vulkan-intel-18.3.4-1 to vulkan-intel-19.0.0-1 Dota 2 (running through Steam) fails shortly after launch with segmentation fault.

Additional info:
Affected version: vulkan-intel-19.0.0-1
Error as shown in terminal: /home/<user>/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/dota 2 beta/game/dota.sh: line 104: 6406 Segmentation fault (core dumped) ${STEAM_RUNTIME_PREFIX} ${GAME_DEBUGGER} "${GAMEROOT}"/${GAMEEXE} "$@"
Reverting back to vulkan-intel-18.3.4-1 seems to fix the issue. Running Dota 2 using opengl works.

Steps to reproduce:
- Update vulkan-intel to 19.0.0-1.
- Open Steam ($ steam), right click on Dota 2, click on Properties, enter "-vulkan" in SET LAUNCH OPTIONS...
- Start Dota 2
- Get segmentation fault

I confirm the bug with the same system configuration on my machine.

Having the same issue where Vulkan segfaults with absolutely anything that uses it.
GPU: VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 5500 (rev 09)
Kernel: Linux 5.2.1-1-MANJARO #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Jul 15 04:50:55 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Edit: Upon further investigation, this seems to be the fault of vulkan-validation-layers and not vulkan-intel. This issue has been fixed in the Vulkan-ValidationLayers repository and just needs to make its way back

Is this still an issue? Have you filed an upstream report we can follow?
