Description:
since firefox 66 I notice that in html forms the standard buttons ("submit", "browse") are not translated to the local language set by the user in the firefox's preferences, for example the french language, it seems an archlinux bug packaging, because If I use the official firefox 66 binary from the mozilla website then there is no bug : "submit" and "browse" buttons in html forms are translated to french ("valider" and "parcourir"), you can find as attachment a test html source code Additional info: * package version(s) firefox 66.0-1 and firefox-i18n-fr 66.0-1 * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any : Steps to reproduce: - install the archlinux package of firefox 66 and language translation package - set in firefox's preference the language of your choice (french, spanish) - open the html source file (see the attachment file) - you will notice that submit and browse button are in english, and not in french - the bug doesn't occur with firefox 65 and the current version of chromium and opera |

to fix the problem I have to go to the options panel of firefox -> "languages settings" and search "french" in the options, and sometimes I have to click on the button "select alternatives" and select french
