DetailsXscreensaver show its desktop entry by default. But its daemon isn't started by default, rendering the entry useless.
Furthermore, under the Deepin desktop environment, the basic set of packages depend on xscreensaver. So if you don't want to have a screensaver you can't just remove the package. So this needs a little bit of consistency. Either: - The desktop entry should be in a different package. - The entry is only show in certain desktop environments. - The daemon is started by default. Reason for closing: Won't implement
Additional comments about closing: in arch we dont split packages like crazy to have a own one for desktop entries.
also we dont start daemons by default
