DetailsDescription:
I was helping an individual on the #openldap channel in IRC who linked me the build information for OpenLDAP for Archlinux (https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk/PKGBUILD?h=packages/openldap) I noticed there is a comment in there (lines 20-23) about back-bdb/back-hdb and the OpenLDAP FAQ. Unfortunately the FAQ entry referenced had not been updated since the OpenLDAP 2.1 series (around 2002). I've updated the FAQ today to reflect the current state of affairs. Hopefully this will help two things: a) The removal of the comment (as it is incorrect) and b) The (eventual) removal of back-bdb and back-hdb from Archlinux OpenLDAP builds. Regards, Quanah |
