DetailsDescription:
Samba 4.10 introduced support for Python 3, which is used by default. Python 2 became an option, and is supposed to be deprecated in Samba 4.11. Optional Python 2 bindings can be built alongside Python 3 with the '--extra-python=/usr/bin/python2', so it shouldn't break anything that still depends on Python2 bindings. Maybe they could even be spun out as a split package? |
