See https://github.com/vicious-widgets/vicious/pull/75. For example, the mpd widget started crashing after the recent vicious update. Additional info: lua 5.3.5-2 vicious 2.3.2-1 awesome 4.3-1 Seems to me like the vicious package should track master until they release a new stable version, since the lua package has been at 5.3 for a while. Debian already tracks master, and upstream recommends it too. |
