Description:
pre kodi 18 e.g. sftp(ssh not really ftp) was included into kodis code base and available out of the box. If I understand https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/blob/master/docs/README.Linux.md#5-build-binary-add-ons correctly, these https://github.com/xbmc/repo-binary-addons addons must be added to kodi during build time. I'm talking in particular about the vfs addons, as there is currently no easy way to get them to work under arch linux.

Okay, I'm wrong. This doesn't need to be there on build time. I just made an addon that works. I put it up in the AUR.
