DetailsWhen using the default (Arch) lightdm settings with lightdm 1.28.0-3, the loading of the desktop gets delayed after a successful login until I move the cursor. I have the same issue when logging into both XFCE and MATE so I'm presuming its a bug with lightdm rather than both desktops.

I have replaced lightdm with gdm and I have not had any delays when logging into XFCE since.
