As written on IRC:
There's an issue with git completion in the fish shell that's fixed on master already but not in a release yet: https://github.com/fish-shell/fish-shell/commit/016d83c3fcc42a8bef4e5739a85309beb212a917 . Could you maybe apply that to the current sources as I'm annoyed by this bug quite a lot (and probably other people)?

git add completion fix is in 3.0.2, however im not a fan of backporting every single completion fix so systemctl will need to wait for 3.0.3
