Description:
It would be nice to ship the official arch logo and add a LOGO field to os-release pointing to it (see https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/os-release.html) Some applications can make use of it to display a distribution logo (for instance, next version of kinfocenter will, and I could stop shipping the Arch logo with it) |

About the name of the icon in os-release, is there cons on using LOGO=archlinux?
In the supported formats, the best looks like to be svg, but if I understand correctly it's an optional in XDG theme spec.
So we must also ship a png or xpm. Looks png is the better of both.
The files should be put in /usr/share/pixmaps/archlixnux.{png,svg}.
About the image itself, should we pick the first of https://www.archlinux.org/art/, or should we go with a square logo (only the A)? Opinions?
FS#58081). Most applications will expect something closer to a square form-factor. I'm currently using archlinux-vert-dark.svg from https://sources.archlinux.org/other/artwork/archlinux-artwork-1.6.tar.gz in kinfocenter.
