Details
Description:
System cannot mount the btrfs /home partition anymore after upgrading to kernel 4.20.7. The issue persists for 4.20.8 as well. Upon booting the home partition cannot be mounted and the systems boots into emergency mode. Trying to manually mount the home drive yields 'mount: unknown filesystem type btrfs'. Downgrading to kernel package version 4.20.6-arch1-1-x86_64 fixes the issue. Affected package versions: * 4.20.7.arch1-1-x86_64 * 4.20.8.arch1-1-x86_64 Steps to reproduce: * Use ext4 for / and btrfs for /home * Upgrade to Linux kernel version 4.20.7 or 4.20.8 |
