DetailsDescription:
Running freshly-entered C program from within freshly-installed codeblocks fails because xterm isn't installed. Additional info: Without xterm, using the "Play" button on codeblock's toolbar outputs this in the terminal from which codeblocks was launched: execvp(xterm, -T, project-name, -e, /usr/bin/cb_console_runner, project-name) failed with error 2! Process terminated with status -1 (0 minute(s), 37 second(s)) With xterm installed, using the "Play" button on codeblock's toolbar opens a new xterm and the project's output is displayed in this new xterm, as is expected. Steps to reproduce: Install codeblocks on a machine without xterm, compile and run any program from within the IDE Proposed fix: Add xterm as dependency. |
