Description:
As of version 4.5.0, pulseeffects relies on lsp-plugins to provide the equalizer effect. The lsp-plugins package is also necessary for the delay effect. Pulseeffects will still function without the lsp-plugins package, it just won't be possible to use the equalizer or delay effects. However, the lsp-plugins package isn't listed as optional dependency in the PKGBUILD file used to build the pulseeffects package. The pulseeffects developer maintains a PKGBUILD file in the pulseeffects github repository which lists lsp-plugins as an optional dependency. Additional Info: *PKGBUILD file used the build the pulseeffects package: https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/community.git/tree/trunk/PKGBUILD?h=packages/pulseeffects *PKGBUILD file in the pulseeffects github repository: https://github.com/wwmm/pulseeffects/blob/master/PKGBUILD *Pulseeffects changelog (see entries 4.5.0 and 4.4.7): https://github.com/wwmm/pulseeffects/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md |
