Description:
Since the modemmanager update to 1.10.0-1 the GUI seems to segfault when I'm trying to see details of my USB hardware. The Huawei E160 series are officially supported upstream, network connections and network manager work perfectly fine, the only thing that's not working is the Modem Manager GUI. Steps to reproduce: - Have an (already connected via network manager or nm-applet) USB modem with a working SIM card. - Open modem-manager-gui in Terminal - Click on other modem first, click around the tabs (e.g. Info or Scan) - works fine. - Click on USB modem - segfault. Terminal Output of above Steps: Connection manager: Network Manager >= 0.9.0 Modem manager: Modem Manager >= 0.7.0 (modem-manager-gui:20605): e-data-server-CRITICAL **: 23:01:58.934: e_source_registry_ref_builtin_address_book: assertion 'source != NULL' failed Segmentation fault at address: 0x5580a0000000 Stack trace: 1. /usr/lib/libc.so.6(cfree+0x53) [0x7fdcca2b9f73] 2. /usr/lib/libc.so.6(cfree+0x53) [0x7fdcca2b9f73] 3. /usr/lib/modem-manager-gui/modules/libmodmm_mm07.so(+0x81a5) [0x7fdcc48fe1a5] 4. /usr/lib/modem-manager-gui/modules/libmodmm_mm07.so(mmgui_module_devices_information+0x443) [0x7fdcc49005c3] 5. modem-manager-gui(mmguicore_devices_open+0xd4) [0x5580a2633ec4] 6. modem-manager-gui(+0x3812b) [0x5580a264512b] 7. /usr/lib/libgobject-2.0.so.0(g_cclosure_marshal_VOID__STRINGv+0x87) [0x7fdcca4583c7] 8. /usr/lib/libgobject-2.0.so.0(g_signal_emit_valist+0x100e) [0x7fdcca44a16e] 9. /usr/lib/libgobject-2.0.so.0(g_signal_emit+0x90) [0x7fdcca44aa80] Additional info: * modem-manager-gui 0.0.19.1-2 * modemmanager 1.10.0-1 * libmm 1.10.0-1 * networkmanager 1.14.5.dev+17 * libnm 1.14.5dev+17 |
