DetailsI've updated some packages and received the warning:
"Warning: faba-icon-theme: local version (1:4.3-1) is newer than community (4.3-1.1)" I am not sure if it tells me: - the creation date of local faba-icon-theme 1:4.3-1 is newer than community (4.3-1.1) - pacman comes to the result that local 1:4.3-1 is a higher (newer) version number than community (4.3-1.1) - or something different I just don't understand If the first case is correct, it would be great if you could change the error message a little so that it is more obvious that pacman is dealing with the local creation date of the file (or something like that) If the second case is correct I would assume that there is a problem in pacman regarding comparing the package versions (from my understanding 4.3-1.1 is newer than 1:4.3-1) If the third case is correct it would be nice if you could give me a hint regarding the problem the warning is pointing at :-) . |
