- create a read-only Wiki-friendly version (as a template for translations) ---> #6155 - not a showstopper - contact/recruit translators for unofficial translations to be added to the Wiki ---> #6156 - not a showstopper |
This task depends upon
changed to 4 partitions /home is now taken for the rest
/ is now defaultet to 7.5gb
new feature of autoprepare is now to chose the fs for / and /home :)
http://veloxis.de/archdocs/arch-install-guide.txt and
http://veloxis.de/archdocs/arch-install-guide.html
respectively.
Of course, the changes Tobias refers to are NOT included as of yet, but we'll arrange something. Right? RIGHT? Of course we will.
- We shouldn't talk so much about installation using a floppy. simply drop a line that this way is no more officially supported. Remove no more needed parts.
- hard disc auto-prepare needs to be updates as already mentioned
- we should choose only one device naming sheme and that should be the one for PATA
- /etc/locale.gen and root pw is set now within the installation process
