mpd won't play musepack files after upgrading libmpcdec. recompiling mpd via abs fixes the issue.

looks like all packages depending on libmpcdec (audacious-plugins bmp-musepack gstreamer0.10-musepack k3b mpd xmms-musepack ... that's everything in the repos) need to be recompiled with the new lib.

I second this.
K3b needs a rebuild, otherwise it crashes with a reference to libmpcdec when trying to add ogg oder wav tracks to an audiocd...

upgrading libmpcdec will fix this bug also, as they reverted the API breakage in the latest version.

Correction, they didn't, they just bumped the .soname in 1.2.5 now to make clear that 1.2.3 and .4 broke API. All packages are rebuilt in extra now and are waiting for a database upgrade.
