DetailsThe PKGBUILD retrieves source from youtube-dl.org over HTTP. The upstream site recommends connecting to yt-dl.org over HTTPS instead. The url field in the PKGBUILD also uses HTTP for a site where HTTPS is available.
These problems are present in version 2018.12.31-1. The attached PKGBUILD fixes these problems, and also updates the package to version 2019.01.02-1. |

Github pages custom domains only recently-ish gained support for https at all, IIRC. I've duly added it to the TODO: https://www.archlinux.org/todo/use-gpg-signatures-and-https-sources/
