Qt versions 3.3.1 has problems rendering certain fonts, which were OK on Qt 3.2.3 and earlier. In particular, monospaced fonts such as Bitstream Courier 10 Pitch are rendered with the wrong letter spacing; it is much too wide.

i can confirm this: Courier 10 Pitch looks horribly after qt-update ... but funny, Bitstream Vera Mono looks ok (to be used as workaround :-)

no idea why and if this is really a qt-bug, but it happens directly after the qt-update (checked 2times with different constellations)
