Description:
VirtualBox 6.0 sets the Graphics Controller setting to "VMSVGA" (VMware SVGA graphic device) for Linux VMs. To use it with Xorg, the xf86-video-vmware driver is needed. Please add xf86-video-vmware as a dependency to virtualbox-guest-utils. From Xorg.0.log: (EE) Failed to load module "vmware" (module does not exist, 0) Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. virtualbox-guest-utils 6.0.0-1 Steps to reproduce: Try to start X with Graphics Controller set to "VMSVGA. |

There *is* a problem with "auto-resize Guest display" on VMSVGA, but installing xf86-video-vmware does not fix that. I don't think that's a packaging issue, but an upstream problem with either the kernel modesetting driver or VirtualBox.
